After purchasing our second trailer, a 2011 KZ Durango 355RL from Family Camping Outlet in 2011; we want to extend our sincere appreciation for the extraordinary service, friendliness, and knowledge of both you and your staff.
Our first trailer was acquired in 2003; a 2004 Citation 37Z and being new customers to trailer camping, both you and your staff answered all of our questions and assisted us with any problems in a timely and efficient manner. When the time arrived to trade in our first trailer and purchase a second one, there was not a question of where we would buy this one: Family Camping Outlet.
Your company is appropriately named as customers can truly sense the feeling of family. You and your staff have been extremely helpful, honest, and accommodating in all the needs of our family in the purchase and maintenance of both our trailers. Our sincere acknowledgment of your exceptional “family” have made us not only “happy campers” but life-long customers.
Hey Billy, As I mentioned to you attached are the picture of dead bugs on the front of our new Windjammer after returning from our 6 day trip to Colorado & back to get our new puppies. You can really tell just how aerodynamic the front of the trailer is because 90% of the dead bugs are at the top center of the front of the trailer...very few on the other sections of the trailer front.
Also I wanted to let you know just how well these trailers tow. We were honkin along at 650 miles a day at 65 mph no problem and I was even able to tow in "Drive" rather than leaving the truck in 3rd gear as I always had to do with the Citation. I think it's because the Citation had that big flat front end and sat up much higher than the Windjammer does. I ought to mention that it's the same truck, a 2001 GMC Yukon XL 1500 with 189,000 miles on it.
Just wanted to let you know.
I have never taken the time to send a letter to a business that has provided me excellent service. Usually I just take it for granted and forget about my purchasing experience. I’m making an exception based on the experience with the purchase of our first travel trailer from Family Camping Outlet on March 2011.
From the day that we first contacted Andy about touring the K-Z Spree until the day we drove it home, every interaction with Family Camping Outlet exceeded our expectations. To be honest, we looked high and low for the perfect camper and we were always drawn back to Family Camping Outlet; not necessarily because of the campers on the lot (which we did love), but because of the pleasant experience we always had when stopping in for a look at the new inventory.
When picking up my camper today, I was prepared to sit down as soon as I arrived, hand over a check and sign a pile of documents. I was wrong. Andy immediately took me into the garage and gave me a very thorough walkthrough and demo of my new camper. In fact, it was hitched to my truck and ready to go before anyone even hinted at getting down to business.
As for getting down to business; this is the part of the experience that has prompted this letter. To my disappointment there was some confusion over the details of the deal. Admittedly, I did not communicate my understanding of certain terms of the agreement as clearly as I should have. Being by myself for the delivery of the camper, I stepped outside to call my wife to give her the news that the camper she has wanted for the past few years might not be coming home with me today. Before I could get another sentence out, you had interrupted my phone call with my wife to inform me that we would make the deal based on the terms, as I understood them.
Based on my overall experience, Family Camping Outlet has gained another customer for life. I would not recommend for anyone to purchase a camper elsewhere.
Thank you for such a painless camper purchase!
Great Job, Bill!
This letter came to us from customers of Bill D'Andrea of Family Camping Outlet in Stowe, PA. They wrote:
We have wanted to write you a letter expressing our thanks and gratitude concerning Family Camping Outlet and the purchase of our then new 2006 Montego Bay. We have really enjoyed the RV this past season and time has gotten away from us. We would like to express our appreciation with Family Camping and the service they provided after our 2000 New Vision Ultra was destroyed by fire.
When Bill Jr. heard about the fire, he called our home to make sure everyone was safe. We felt that was above and beyond what any dealership really needed to do. We have been a long time customer of theirs and we really appreciated their concern.
When it was time to purchase a new unit they went out of their way to accommodate us. The entire sales staff and service department were very helpful when we need it most, as well as the staff at KZ.
KZ can be very proud that Family Camping is representing your company and product line. We are very satisfied with our Montego Bay and have received many compliments from our fellow campers.
My wife and I purchased a 2303PF Frontier. This was our first camper and we searched high and low for the perfect unit, and just fell in love with this camper. This year we traded it for our 2457Px2 and love it just as much. The one thing that sold us more than anything else on both units was the exceptional service and family feeling we received from FAMILY CAMPING OUTLET in POTTSTOWN, PA. Bill and his family of employees are exceptional people and always have time for my wife and me, no matter how busy they are or how dumb the question. This is exactly why I bought another unit from Billy. I just could not find service like this or a salesman of this caliber. I truly believe this company that represents you should be acknowledged for their service to you and to my wife and I.
Thank you so much from a happy customer.
